Eli Hobbs was selected as this week's News Courier Player of the Week. He made the
most of his opportunities against Ardmore. The senior carried the ball
six times for 156 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Red Devils to a
49-27 win to open the season. Hobbs averaged a remarkable 26 yards per
carry against the Tigers.
