ELKMONT BAND CAMP MAKES THE PAPER

The Athens News Courier came by to see how the Elkmont band camp was doing this week.  If you would like a hard copy for scrapbooks, drop by the newspaper office in Athens and buy a Thursday paper.

Classes for county schools begin Aug. 5 and Elkmont's first football game is Aug. 28 against Ardmore. Heavy rain and thunderstorms pelted Limestone County Wednesday morning, making for a more pleasant practice environment, including cooler temperatures and lower humidity.
