ESTHER LILLY WALTS - OBITUARY

Esther Lilly Walts, 90, of Phoenix, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. She was born on April 12, 1925 in Central Square, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Gilman E. Walts. Esther was employed by General Electric for 38 years as a production worker and was a member of I.U.E. Local 320 Syracuse, NY. She loved sewing and gardening and was known for her beautiful roses. 
 
      Esther is survived by two daughters, Gloria (Michael) Jaquith of Pennellville, Dawn (Billy) Rakestraw of Manlius, seven sons, George (Louise) of Zephyrhills, FL, Gilman, Gerald (Diana,) Glenn (Megan,) Gordon (Linda,) all of Phoenix, James (Sharon) of Pennellville, and Eugene (Jennie) of Athens, AL, two sisters Pearl Stoutenger of Phoenix, and Isadore Delperuto of Syracuse. She was a loving grandmother of many grandchildren (Elkmont grandchildren, James (Peggy) Walts  and Sean Walts) great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Esther was also predeceased by one sister, Cecil Ingerson, and one brother, Sonny Clark. 

      Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 11, 2015 from the Watson Funeral Home, Central Square, NY. Interment Roosevelt Cemetery, Pennellville, NY. Calling hours will be held 4:00-7:00 P.M., Friday, July 10, 2015 from the Watson Funeral Home, 631 South Main Street.
