RUNNING

Elkmont's wacky and fun loving people who love to run are everywhere. We have great places to run. Come and be a part of our merry group.

Cross Country Teams:
Elkmont high school has a boys and girls team.  Founded in 2012, the Running Red Devils started with scotch tape, bailing wire and hard work to put together a program that has made a big impact in the Alabama small school classification.  These dedicated runners train on the Richard Martin trail.  Our community runners of all ages participate in these practice runs.

Since the program is self-funding, their fundraisers are the Hound Dog Half Marathon held in January and the Rails to Trails 10K in October. If you would like to make a donation to the race/cross country and track team. Donations can be made on the race registration site RunSignUp or checks can be made out to EHS and mailed directly to: Elkmont High School
