Congrats to Austin Sharp for being selected as 2011-2012 Drum Major of the EHS marching band.
Congrats to the 2011-2012 officers of the newly formed EHS Poetry Club. President-Wes Isham, Vice President-Dustin Marshall, Secretary-Ashley DeGrave, Editor of the literary magazine-Kim Modica, Sergeant at arms-Cody Isham.
The Football jamboree is tonight starting at 6:00.
This year Elkmont has done an outstanding job collecting Boxtops! The class with the most participants' wins a GIANT cookie for their class to eat. The k-1 grade class with the most participants is Mrs. Witt's First grade class. The 2-3rd grade class is Mrs. Compton's class. The 4th-6th grade class is Mrs. Bates class. Way to go Elkmont! Collect them this summer for your school. Bring the Boxtops to school in August.
***5-6 Old T-Ball Tournament. In Honor of Rhett Bailey. Saturday, June 11th. Start time 9:00 A.M. at Elkmont High School Ball Fields. There will be a $3.00 charge for adults and $2.00 charge for children 5 and up. All proceeds will be given to the Bailey family. Any volunteers that would like to help work the concession stand, the gates, or umpires, please contact Robby Grams at 256-777-2233. There will also be a donation box for those of you that would like to donate money. Thank you in advance for those of you who are willing to participate. This is going for a great cause.
