WHAT ABOUT NEXT TIME?

How did your family do last week?  Were you unprepared?  We were very fortunate here in Elkmont but some of us were without power for 5 to 6 days.  Take time to review what worked for you and what didn't during last week.  If another emergency happened next week or next month, would you be any better off?

Don't wait until the next trial - get going and prepare.  This winter is expected to be colder than normal and arriving early -  that brings ice storms.  What about the hurricanes that blow up our way?  Severe weather is not over for the year and the trees have already taken a big hit - it won't take much to lose electricity again due to fallen trees and branches.
