FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS AT ELKMONT

During the August 9 meeting's first budget reading, Chief Schools Financial Officer Ann Swanner outlined $5.3 million worth of construction and renovation projects to come up within the next school year.

Elkmont doesn't have anything ongoing but is on the "in the future" list.  Several projects are being developed. 

1. $600,000 for new bathroom facilities
2. $1.5 million for an overhaul of the football stadium bleachers, which might involve moving and replacing the adjacent dressing rooms and bathrooms. 

Superintendent Tom Sisk said PH&J architect firm will present options in the near future for the stadium project. Greg Shoulders asked if the buildings that are potentially to be moved are required by the state and Wallace responded that all options the architect presents will fall in line with state code.
