HELPING HOMELESS VETERANS WITH TCP

The Coupon Patrol (TCP) has been working with the homeless and the homeless Veterans for a while now. As we are going out into the field, we see many needs. It’s amazing to us, the respect they have for us when we enter their camps. It’s something like you’ve never seen before.

As you know TCP loves to help! We love to help you save money with coupons, and we love to give what we get free or deeply discounted to those in need.

Winter is coming! And it will come quickly! You know how it feels when you come home from a long day, to a nice big pot of stew in the winter months? Warms your bones, doesn’t it?

Well, this leads us to our next project. Not a huge, month long project, but a helping hand project.
One week only, October 3rd – 7th, TCP will be have a can-a-thon
We will be collecting canned soups and stews. We will collect these for the homeless and homeless Veterans, so they’ll have a hot meal in the cold months.

One can of hot soup will be such a blessing to them. Remember that feeling you get, when you come home to a hot pot of stew? Imagine the joy you can bring to them as well.
You'll be blessed when you bless them.

If you have extra cans of soup or stew or chili, etc….please drop off between Oct. 3rd through 7th to Phebe at Don Carter’s or Mandy at Springleaf. Or message Larry or Angie, to make other arrangements.
