WORLD RECORD SET AT TRACKLESS TRAIN TREK

Ludivine, our now famous Elkmont bloodhound, has brought a lot of attention to the inaugural Trackless Train Trek Half Marathon (now renamed Elkmont's Hound Dog Half Marathon) this week.  However, there are other note worthy stories that need to be recognized.

One is Grattan O’Neill, an eight-year-old local runner, who set the half-marathon single-age world record, completing the race in 1:38:22. Shane, Grattan’s father, is Canadian and works as a physician in Huntsville after attending the University of Calgary.
Grattan also holds a number of other single-age world records including in the 8K, 10K, 15K, 10-mile in addition to 17 Alabama records.
