HELP OUR GIRL SCOUT TROOP FILL SOME TUMMIES

Our local girl scout troop, #1134, is doing their annual Full Tummy drive in the community this weekend. They are placing plastic bags with fliers on front doors, asking the community for their help in collecting the items. They will be going to the Elkmont Rural Village, Clearmont Subdivision, around the High School and Downtown Elkmont. If you want to participate and they miss you, please contact these ladies and our sweet girl scouts will come by to pick up your donation.

Dear Elkmont Friends,
We are Girl Scout Troop 1134. For the last couple of years, in October, we have helped collect food for the Elkmont Full Tummy Project. The Full Tummy project is a community service that qualifying children with food to take home on the weekends, so there are no skipped meals or going without.  A great project as well as we get to help  kids in our community.  This is what girl scouts love to do.

Bags were distributed during last weekend for your donation, if you choose to participate.  On October 27 @ 9 am, door to door collections will take place.  Leave your donations on your front porch or near the front door.

If you have questions, call Emily Lovell @ 256-497-7285.  Thanks in advance for your help! What a blessing to live in Elkmont, the greatest little town on earth.
