Spring means more than beautiful flowers, wonderful temperatures and baby animals. It also means school field trips.

The first graders at Elkmont had the chance to visit the Burritt Park on Monte Santo Mountain.
The site features Burritt's eclectic mansion, a historic park with restored nineteenth-century houses, a barnyard with authentic breeds of farm animals, a series of nature trails, and concerts, plays, festivals and exhibits.
