Mr. and Mrs. Norm Chastain of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter Rachel Leigh Chastain to David Coulter Broadway, son of Mr. and Mrs. David E. Broadway Jr. of Athens.The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gordon Mathis of Albertville and Margaret Chastain of Athens, and the late Dorothy Mathis and Bruce Chastain.
She is a 2008 graduate of Athens Bible School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama where she received a bachelor’s degree in Spanish.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Royce Adams of Athens and Mr. and Mrs. David Broadway Sr. of Elkmont.
He is a 2006 graduate of Elkmont High School and a 2011 graduate of UAHuntsville where he received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
He is a software developer.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 3, at Monte Sano Lodge in Huntsville.
