The Hill Spirit was looking at the favorite weather site tonight, Weatherbell.com. You that are Elkmont blog readers have had a heads up warning about upcoming cold well in advance all winter. Here is your next one. Most of the normal websites you might check are saying that the last week of January is going to be in mid 40s to lower 50s...don't be so sure. Hill Spirit wants you to know that there is info out there that says the last week will be another round of pipe bursting cold. You have time to prepare so you won't be among those suffering with burst pipes, no water or houses not being warm enough. Now is your opportunity to work on being ready for real winter weather...don't forget your car. Remember ... Jan 26 - 31.
