Just like our Miss Kalynn Clinard, the current Miss Limestone Sheriff's Rodeo, Cody is one of our young people with a big heart.

"For the people that ask why I miss the biggest jackpots and rodeos of the year. There isn't an amount of money in the world that can compare to the smiles on these kids faces when you help them accomplish something as simple as catching a roping dummy. Helping with the special needs rodeo is twice as rewarding as winning first anywhere. For those that have never been a part of it, you don't know what you are missing! I'm a very blessed guy. "

Cody has been participating in rodeos for many years. Here is a Decatur Daily Link to an older article if you don't know about Elkmont's cowboy.

Hill Spirit loves braggin' on our Elkmont community. It and its people are something to love.
