She was born March 7, 1948 in Limestone Co. AL to Ulver & Lizzy Posey. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Hazel Green, AL.
Visitation will be Monday, August 15, 2016, 1 PM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel. Services will follow at 3 pm with Mike Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Hasting Cemetery.
Survivors include, Husband: Dennis Mitchell of Elkmont, AL, Daughter: Karen Tann & husband, Brian of Elkmont, AL, Son: Ronnie Mitchell & wife, Brandy of Elkmont, AL, Sister: Voncil Wales of Minor Hill, TN, Brother: James Posey of Elkmont, AL, Grandchildren: Emily Powers, Trey Powers, Lauren Stout, Victoria Mitchell, Austin Thompson & Jesse Thompson, Great Granddaughter: Gracelyn Powers.
