BE CAREFUL - LOOK OUT FOR ICE

...BLACK ICE AND PATCHY FREEZING FOG POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHERN ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS MORNING...
WITH RECENTLY MELTED SNOW AND TEMPERATURES AROUND THE FREEZING MARK...THERE COULD BE A FEW SLICK SPOTS ON AREA ROADWAYS THIS MORNING...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. IN ADDITION...PATCHY FREEZING FOG IS POSSIBLE FOR LOCATIONS EAST OF INTERSTATE 65.
THE THREAT OF BLACK ICE AND FREEZING FOG WILL END BY 10 AM AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING.
BLACK ICE CAN BE ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS BECAUSE YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE IT UNTIL YOU HAVE ALREADY ENCOUNTERED IT. IF TRAVELING...PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES...OVERPASSES...AND ELEVATED HIGHWAYS WHERE WATER FREEZES FIRST. DO NOT ASSUME THAT A WELL TRAVELED ROAD WILL BE FREE OF ICE.
