PHILLPS /GOFF WEDDING THIS SATURDAY

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Phillips of Elkmont announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Lynn Phillips to Joshua Michael Goff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Goff of Elkmont and the late Sandra Hayslett.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Phillips Jr. of Clarksville, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. William Hall of Bloomingdale, Ga., and the late Dyte Spence.  She is a 2011 graduate of Elkmont High School, a 2013 graduate of Southern Union State Community College and is currently pursuing a degree in math-secondary education at the University of North Alabama.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Josh and

Mildred Goff of Elkmont, Leroy Davenport and Bertha Porter. Joshua is a 2010 graduate of Elkmont High School. He earned admittance to the nuclear program in the U.S. Navy. He is currently serving on the USS Theodore Roosevelt, in Norfolk, Va.

The wedding is planned for March 22 at Madelyn’s in the Grove.
