- No. 1 Belle Chevre's Sugar Cookies versus No. 8 K-May Donuts: The lure of a sweet start to the day with doughnuts dipped in chocolate — breakfast, they say, is the most important meal of the day — pushed K-May Donuts to a first-round win over the Mennonite-owned Dutch Oven Bakery in Falkville. K-May Donuts will face nationally known Belle Chevre. The Elkmont-based creamery's chevre-iced cookies became famous after receiving the designation of one of Oprah Winfrey's "favorite things."

- No. 3 The Bakery at Elkmont versus No. 6 The Corner Bakery & Eatery: In a battle of the bakeries, Decatur's The Corner Bakery & Eatery, which secured a first-round win over Humble Heart Farm's goat's milk ice cream, will challenge Elkmont's The Bakery at Elkmont. Known for its creative and inventive cake designs, The Corner Bakery & Eatery also offers cake bites, a crowd favorite, and The Bakery at Elkmont serves up cupcakes.
