VIRGIE RUTH REEVES - OBITUARY

Virgie Ruth Reeves, 79, of Rogersville died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at the home of her son.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home with Odis Duncan officiating. Burial was in Bedingfield Cemetery in Rogersville. 

Mrs. Reeves was born April 28, 1934, in Limestone County. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of Christ and retired from ConAgra.

Survivors include a son, Elton Wade Reeves of Rogersville; grandchildren, Misty Dawn Reeves of Athens and Daniel Lee Reeves of Rogersville; great-grandchildren, Dustin Reeves, Ethan Reeves and Cayson Reeves; three sisters, Barbara Jackson and Margaret Lawrence, both of Elkmont, and Dorothy Draper of Athens;

She is preceded in death by her parents, Irby and Alice Jewell; her husband, Lester “Joe” Reeves, and a daughter, Gwen Higgins.

Pallbearers will be Mark Owens, Chris Putman, Scottie Smith, Dickey White, Daniel Reeves and Trent Jackson.
