Obituary:
Gloria Loretta Myers, 76 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski, Tennessee.  Born Thursday, May 19, 1938 in Cleveland, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Switzer Poe and the late Eudora Rickles Poe. She has lived in this area for the last 40 years. She was an avid reader and loved her family and her cats. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Bill Myers.

Surviving are daughter, Marci Martin of Elkmont, AL, brother, Larry R. Poe of Carrollton, MS, sister, Marion Joyce Bay of Bradenton, FL, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services was at 7:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Roger Cothren officiating.

The family received friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
