Memorial services will be Sunday, August 17, 2014 2:00 p.m. at Limestone chapel Funeral Home with Douglas Eubanks officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Preceded in death by his parents, Carter and Wilma Lois Mealer; brother, Kenneth Mealer and sister-in-law, Carol Mealer and special brother-in-law, Glenn Hamlett.
Survived by his wife, Wanda “Liz” Mealer of Elkmont; one daughter, Amanda Norton and husband, Kim; one son, Nick Mealer and wife, Becca; four grandchildren; Garrett Newton, Kaden Newton, Sawyer Norton and Abigail Duncan; special sister-in-law, Linda Hamlet and special brother-in-law, Larry Garner and special sister-in-law, Beth Garner; one brother, Haskel Mealer; special nephew, Gary Mealer; niece, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews and numerous other family and friends.
