Jerry Lee Pepper
August 20, 1935 - September 1, 2015
Jerry Lee Pepper, better known as "Buddy", passed away September 1, 2015 surrounded by his family. He
was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. He served 4 years active
duty in the Army.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cornelia
Brackeen Pepper of 57 years. Three sons, Michael Pepper (Starr) of
Elkmont, Zachary Pepper (Emma) of Athens, Kevin Pepper of Elkmont, and
one daughter Selina Ford (Sammy) of Athens. He is also survived by his
grandchildren whom he loved and by whom he was adored.
Funeral service will be Thursday, September 3rd at 1:00 pm at McConnell Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 until 12:45 pm. Burial will be in the Athens Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of North AL or The Wounded Warrior Project.
