Volleyball today at Priceville.

Homecoming practice tomorrow 7th period. After reporting to 7th period, all court members, middle school and varsity cheerleaders are to report to the football field.

Students please return your signed Progress report to your 1st period teacher.

The Alabama High School Graduation Exam continues today with the Math exam, which will be given to all 1st time 9th and 10th graders who passed Algebra 1 last year, any 11th graders who did not take the math exam during the Spring 2011 administration, and any seniors who still need to pass math.

September 19 ( Monday Announcements)

• The Alabama High School Graduation Exam begins today. Today, the Biology exam will be given , and this administration is for all 10th graders who passed biology last year, any 11th graders who did not take the Biology exam during the Spring 2011 administration, and any seniors who will need to pass Biology. Nearly all students will test in the new gym balcony this morning. Also, the small group testing room will be in Mrs. Woods' kitchen this morning. Students bring #2 pencils to the testing room and leave everything else, including cell phones and all other digital devices, in your locker.

• Any 12th grade student athlete who wants to be considered for this year's Elkmont High representatives for the Wendy's High School Heisman should go online at www. wendysheisman.com    in order to complete your online application. This application must be completed no later than Sunday, October 2nd at 5:00 PM. Additionally, you must choose a teacher or coach as a reviewer, and the chosen reviewer must complete his/her review of your application by Tuesday, October 4th at 5:00 PM. There are two chosen winners per school, and school winners will be considered for state and national level consideration. Winners can receive Wendy's gift cards and local recognition, and national winners are invited to attend Wendy's High School Heisman Award Presentation in New York City, where you will be recognized during the ESPN Heisman telecast. • Any boys in grades 9-12 interested in trying out for boys basketball will meet Thursday morning before school in Coach Garris' room. Football players do not have to attend.

• Middle school football at East Limestone at 5:15 tonight.
• Boxtops winners are: Ryan Fleming, Ty Roberts and Aubrie Harwell. Way to go for boxtops!!!
