SEPTEMBER 20 ANNOUNCEMENTS - ELKMONT HIGH SCHOOL

Homecoming practice today 7th period, need all attendants, band, middle school and varsity cheerleaders to attend. Everyone will report to 7th period class before leaving for practice.

Volleyball plays area game Thursday at 5 pm vs. West Morgan. The team needs everyone's support.

Hilltop Jubilee tickets are on sale, with 2 adult tickets purchased you get a student ticket free.

Student drivers- if you have not purchased a parking decal nor have your decal properly placed on your front windshield, please take care of this immediately. Beginning next Monday, any student without a visible decal will be subject to losing their driving privileges until the decal is displayed properly on the vehicle.

The Alabama High School Graduation Exam continues today with the Reading exam, which will be given to any juniors who did not take the Reading exam during the Spring 2011 administration, and any seniors who still need to pass the Reading subject-areatest. PSAT sign-ups will continue through the next 2 weeks. All Advanced 9th, 10th, and 11th grad students are encouraged to take this test. The test will be administered at school on Wednesdays, October 12th, and the exam fe is $13. Students are reminded that the PSAT is qualifying test for juniors to earn National Merit Scholarship consideration.
