Mrs. Long was born May 30, 1946 in South Carolina to Frazier Smith, Sr. and Helen Henson Smith. Memorial services will be Thursday, March 28, 2013 8:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with David Bailey and John Smith officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Preceded in death by her parents, Frazier Smith, Sr. and Helen Smith; brother, Frazier Smith, Jr. Survived by her husband, James Long of Athens; son, Jimmy Long and wife, Jerri; daughter, Connie Katherine Evans and husband Allen; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter.
