HELICOPTER LANDS IN ELKMONT BASEBALL FIELD

PhotoThe Middle School baseball team were scheduled to go to Athens Bible School yesterday for a double header.  Games were moved to Elkmont at the last minute because ABS field was too wet from the inches of rain we were blessed with on Monday.

The Red Devils roared out the gate and  won 16 to 8 in the first game of the double header.

The second game was also looking really good for another win to be added to the middle school record.  We were winning 10 to 3 in the bottom of 4th when all the excitement happened.  An ump got hit by a foul ball. He started having seizures and 911 was called and med flight landed in center field.

(He chose go to hospital via ambulance though). Needless to say game was called.

Elkmont will be traveling to Riverside for another double header tomorrow, March 21.  Hopefully, no helicopters.
