BINFORD "BENNY" DWIGHT GEORGE - OBITUARY

Binford “Benny” Dwight George age 64 of Elkmont, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. George was born July 22, 1950 in Madison County, AL to Ollie Binford George and Willodean McDougle George.

Services will be Sunday, July 5, 2015 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with John Norman officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 3, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. George was a member of Owens Cross Roads Baptist Church. He was employed by Limestone County School System, and was a member of the National Guards for 6 years.

Preceded in death by his father, Ollie George; one brother, Mike George; grandparents, Jack and Irene George and Arthur and Ella Mae McDougle.

Survived by his wife, Connie Ann George of Elkmont; one daughter, Stacy Camp and husband, Jason of Athens; one son, Andy George of Athens; one grandson, Hunter Camp of Athens; mother, Willodean George of Athens; one sister, Pat Hardiman and husband, Anthony of Athens; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Alan Boyd, Robert Hathcote, Nathan Hardiman, Jesse Robertson, Hunter Camp and Jason McDougle.
