The graveside service for Ruby Will Fralix age 84, of Athens, AL; was Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery. Rick Craft officiated.
Visitation was Wednesday, October 5, 2016 1:45-2:45 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fralix passed away Monday October 3, 2016 at Life Care Center in Columbia, TN. She was born November 12, 1931, in Limestone County, AL to William Samuel Lewis and Mamie Elvira Furline Lewis. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Melvin Lee Owens and Husband Edson Fralix, one son William Lee Owens.
She is survived by her son Ronnie Owens and wife Sarah of Huntsville, AL; four daughters Wanda Kay Owens and husband Dennis R of Columbia, TN, Barbara Russell and husband Steve of Columbia, TN, Beverly Wallace and husband Mickey of Athens, AL, and Janice Jeter of Ripley, MS; three brothers Billy Gene Lewis of Athens, Jimmy Harold Lewis and wife April of Elkmont, AL, and Ray Lewis and wife Betty of Elkmont, AL, and one sister Lois Adene Hovis and husband Wayne of Harvest, AL; a special sister-in- law Lila Ray Owens Lewis; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
