BUCK SMITH - OBITUARY

Buck Smith, 64 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Friday, November 4, 2016, at his home. Born Wednesday, October 15, 1952 in Athens, Alabama, he was the son of the late William Howard Smith and Martha Dean Hodges Smith. He was a member of Ardmore Church of Christ and loved to build houses. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother: Joey Smith.

Surviving are his wife: Sue Smith of Elkmont, AL, daughters, Traci Mullins of Athens, AL and Ashley (Jason) Shackleford of Fort Scott, KS, brothers, Jimmy (Kathy) Smith of Elkmont, AL and Kenney (Tavvy) Smith of Elkmont, AL, sisters, Sandie (Joe Mark) Douthit of Ardmore, AL and Tammie (Craig) Meadows of Elkmont, AL, and grandchildren: Owen Creasy, Dalton Shackleford, and Josey Shackleford.
 
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 7, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro Douglas Eubanks and Jason Shackleford officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
