The Republican Primary Runoff election was yesterday. Roy Moore and Luther Strange were the candidates. The people of Alabama selected Roy Moore to represent the Republican party as it matches up with Doug Jones of Democrat party.
The people of Elkmont had a surprisingly big turnout for the runoff election with 376 votes cast. Roy Moore won with 243 ballots. Luther Strange collected 133.
