MORRIS ELDRIDGE ADAMS - OBITUARY
Morris Eldridge Adams, age 74 of Elkmont, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Adams was born January 6, 1944 in Limestone County to William Grady Adams and Thelma C. Pitts Adams.
Services will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Doug Colwell and Marshall Norman officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dement Cemetery.
Preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers and three sisters.
Survived by his wife, Gayle Adams of Elkmont; three daughters, Alecia Pugh and husband, Dennis of Toney, AL, Sabrenia Heard and husband, Jeff of Shelbyville, TN and Joy Smith and husband, George of Toney, AL;; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Buddy Adams of Athens; three sisters, Evelyn Gatlin of Madison, Ester Barnett of Athens and Ruby Haggermaker of Athens; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Adams was a non denomination preacher and singer. He loved working with animals.
Pallbearers will be Shane Watkins, Brandon Renegar, Mark Heard, Adam Heard, Josh Heard and Jeremy Moore.
