One of the blessings of living in the South is wild blackberries. They are everywhere and it has been a good year for them. I'm picking today. Don't forget socks, long pants and shirt are the best things protect you from chiggers and thorns. Be sure you take a shower as soon as you get back to get rid of unwanted hitchhikers.
