LOOK WHO HEAVEN SENT

On this day at 1:22 pm, Joseph and Eryn Mitchell welcomed their beautiful angel, Joanna Elizabeth Mitchell. She weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and is 20 inches.  She will charm everyone who sees her, including big brother Jayson. The very happy grandparents are Joey and Christie Swanner of Elkmont and Tim Mitchell and Marcy Nash of Elkmont.

 

FUTURE BASEBALL PLAYER ON BASE

Joseph and Eryn Mitchell welcomed their first child, Jayson Ezra Mitchell on March 10, 2017 at 2:43 am at Huntsville Hospital. He was 8 pounds and 21 inches long. The very happy grandparents are Joey and Christie Swanner of Elkmont and Tim Mitchell and Marcy Nash of Elkmont.

AUTUMN HAS ARRIVED

Brandi Brown and Brad Nichols of Elkmont announce the birth of their daughter, Autumn Brooke Nichols. She was born March 20, 2017, at Madison Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.

She is the granddaughter of Melissa and Steve Howard of Vinemont, Larry and Joyce Nichols of Elkmont, and Frances Nichols of Trinity.  Autumn has one brother, Braiden Nichols.

ANOTHER BUNDLE OF JOY DROPPED OFF AT ELKMONT

Another beautiful angel has joined our Elkmont community. 

Abigail Kate Dowd was born Thursday, Sept. 29th at 11:32 a.m., 20 inches long and weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces. Her parents are Joseph and Stephanie Dowd.  

Doting grandparents are David and Vickie Dowd of Elkmont 

and Royce Russell and Rhonda DeAngelis of Athens.

Conlei Eloise Johnson had her second birthday yesterday.  She is the daughter of Mike and Carrie Johnson, of Trinity. Grandparents are Harry and Connie Knop, of Trinity, and Jerry and Gail Torres, of Elkmont, and Mike and Laura Johnson, of Trinity.

NEW GRANDBABIES

LeDon Campbell is the proud grandpa of two bouncing boys. Cameron Cole Hudgins, 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and Colin Brice Hudgins, 6 pounds, were born Sept. 6 to Cody and Chelsey Hudgins, of Hartselle.  

Other Grandparents are Kim and Shannon Sparks, of Gulf Shores, and Debbie and Jimmy Burkhalter, of Falkville.

ANOTHER YEAR OLDER

Dickey Hobbs is having a birthday.  Be sure to let him know that being 75, loving life is fantastic and wish a him Happy birthday.

ANOTHER DARLING BABY GIRL

Will and Savannah Hodges were blessed with a new bundle from Heaven, Pyper Grace Hodges.  She was born on June 6 with a starting weight of 7 pounds, 4 ounces. 

Her proud grandparents are Mike and Marta Poole, of Elkmont, Jimmy Hodges from Athens and the late Margaret Hodges.

ANOTHER MAPLES ON THE HILLTOP

The Maples are a long established family here in Elkmont.  Children have been born here, grown up, married and had little ones of their own.  

The latest addition to the Maples family has arrived. Lydia Bea, daughter of Ben and Heather Maples, was born May 18 in the morning.  She weighed 7 lbs, 1 oz and is 20 inches of pure perfection. May Elkmont's newest angel be blessed with the best life has to offer.

Will and Krista Hinton have just received a gift from heaven.  Another adorable girl has joined the Elkmont community.

Brandon and Chastity Batrum of Elkmont announce the birth of their daughter, Vera Monroe Batrum. 

She was born Dec. 15, 2015, at Madison Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Vera has one brother, Skylar Batrum, 10, and one sister, Sadie Batrum, 8.

ELKMONT CUTIE TURNS TWO

Christopher Maxx Baker, son of Chris and Erica Baker, of Elkmont, celebrated his second birthday this week. Grandparents are Tim and Jennifer Waldrep, of Town Creek, Dwight and Scotty Baker, of Gattman, Mississippi, and Susan Baker, of Hackleburg.

Drew and Brittney Hicks of Athens announce the birth of their daughter, Leyah Nicole Hicks. She was born April 30, 2015, at Madison Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

ELLIE HAD A BIRTHDAY

Ellie Harper Craig, daughter of Aaron and Morgan Craig of Athens, celebrated her second birthday Feb. 14 at a Minnie Mouse party. Her birthday is Feb. 9.

Her grandparents are Thad and Melissa Gilbert of Athens, Mike Craig of Lester and Darlene Craig of Pulaski, Tennessee. She is the great-grandchild of Wade and Wanda Gilbert and Betty Foster, all of Athens; Richard and Alice Dison of Elkmont and Katherine Craig of Lester.

Fowler Faye Dougherty was born December 29th 2014 at 3:18 pm at Madison hospital. She weighted 6 pounds, 8 ounces  and was 19 1/2 inches long. 

The proud parents are Richard Dougherty and Laura Huseth Dougherty of Elkmont. Grandparents are Darren and Crystal Newsom, Frank and Suzanne Dougherty, Marcus Huseth, and Joan Dougherty. Great grandparents are Jan Adams, Helen Presley, and Margaret Newsom.

HARPER ELAIINE HAM SAYS HELLO

Babies are a blessing from the Lord and another sweet bundle has come into the world.

Harper Elaine Ham, daughter of Josh and Chelsey Ham, announced her arrival at 10:15 on July 3, 2014. Weighing in at 6lbs, 7 ounces, 19 inches long and all 10 fingers and toes, her grandparents are beaming.  If you see the grands, be sure to ask about their grandchild.  Brad & Cindy Wales and Tim & Kim Ham won't be able to resist and might show you some more pictures.
