The funeral for Sadie Beatrice Coffman, 77, of Athens will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Spry Funeral Home with Doug McCurry officiating. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Visitation is from noon until time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Sadie Coffman died Monday, April 16, 2012, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
She was born Sept. 24, 1934, in Limestone County. She was a homemaker and a member of Carey Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Osie Coffman; and brothers, Eugene Coffman and Julian Coffman.
Survivors include her brother, Wilson Coffman and wife Shirley of Athens; special nieces, Melinda Adams and Mary Nell Hastings, both of Athens; special nephews, Dale Coffman and James David Coffman, both of Athens, Ronnie Coffman of Elkmont and Randy Coffman of Daphne.
