Betty Ann Ray age 73 of Athens, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Ray was born February 25, 1939 in Limestone County to Hassie Hargrove and Tobitha Turner Hargrove Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012 11:00 a.m., at Sardis Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Keith Davis officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Preceded in death by her husband, Jim Henry Ray; son, Charles Ray; brothers, Howard Hargrove and Virgil Hargrove; sister, Judy Wilson. Survived by one son, David Ray and wife, Regina of Elkmont; one grandchild, Brian Ray and wife Anjillyn of Athens; one great-grandchild, Ethan Ray of Athens; four brothers, John Hargrove and wife Janie, James Hargrove and wife Dollie both of Athens, Aaron Hargrove of Ardmore, TN and Robert Hargrove of Athens; sister, Vema Dison and husband, Thurston of Elkmont; several nieces and nephews.
