A memorial visitation for Elvin Leo “Buck” Campbell, 83, of Elkmont will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Spry Funeral Home.Mr. Campbell died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Athens SeniorCare and Rehabilitation.
Elvin Campbell was born Nov. 4, 1928, in Ruby, La. He was a retired dredge boat captain and a master mason of the Tioga, La., Masonic Lodge. Mr. Campbell was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Dry Prong, La.
Survivors include a daughter, Lori Sue Campbell of Ocala, Fla.; sons, Elvin Scott Campbell of Vancouver, Wash., Donald Wayne Campbell of Viera, Fla., and David Douglas Campbell of Elkmont; seven grandchildren; and sister, Marie Brown of Dry Prong.
