Mrs. Adams was born June 21, 1933 in Giles County, TN to Melvin Newman and Aileen Woodfin Newman. Services will be Monday, May 20, 2013 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. James Turner officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Joannie Butler and husband Benny and Carrie Wright; two sons, Danny Adams and David Adams and wife Shelby; grandchildren, Michelle Lagunas, Traci Johnston, Tawnya Kirkland, Kevin Butler, Rayna Powers, Dena Enfinger, Sean Guyot and Austin Adams; eight great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; numerous other family and friends.
