Mr. Pope was born June 16, 1928 in Limestone County to William Buren Pope and Constance Rosemond Neafie Pope. Services for Mr. Pope are Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Pastor Mike Westmoreland officiating. He was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, W.B. and Rosemond Pope; sisters, Francis Erickson, Irene Estelle and Phyllis Smith; brother, Howard Pope. He is survived by his son, Rocky W. Pope and his wife Gail of Katy, TX; daughters, Teresa Pope of Elkmont and Gail Marshal and husband Larry of Connersville, IN; grandchildren, Larry Marshal, Jr., Kelly Doyle, Amanda Marshal, Ryan Todd Pope, Cori Ann Powers, Brook Ann Pope; several great grandchildren; sister, Doris Mullen; several nieces and nephews.
