Many of the residents of the Elkmont Rural Village are concerned about little ones not being able to trick or treat this evening due to the weather. They love seeing the costumes and visits from our Elkmont community kids. Many of them have been stockpiling candy whenever they can catch a good sale to accommodate the truckloads of treat or treaters that visit each year. With that in mind, the "Village People" are going to pretend tomorrow is Halloween. The event will be from 5 - 7 pm and of course be sure to show off that wonderful costume.
The Football Red Devils will be winding up their season Friday night as well and we will be saying goodbye to our Seniors. So make a two for evening by visiting the village early for treats and then to the football game to see the Red Devils pull some tricks on the visiting Wilson team.
