The Elkmont XC teams took to the sectional course this past Friday and came home with trophies! They boys, led by strong finishes from Chance Bailey, Adam McMahan, Chase Prater and Tyler Helms secured the team a 1st place finish and qualification to the State XC meet in Oakville, AL on Saturday, Nov 9! Chance Bailey(18:06) and Adam McMahan(18:18), who finished 3rd and 4th overall, earned All-Section by placing in the top 10 finishers overall.
The girls team, led by Sammi Jo Pressnell(23:05) and Hannah Hanback(23:30), Adriel McMahan(23:45) and Jensen Pugh, also qualified for the State XC meet in Oakville this coming Saturday. Sammi Jo Pressnell and Hannah Hanback also received All-Section honors by placing in the top 10 overall!

The 3A girls run at 8:30 am and the 3A boys run at 9:30 am. Please come out Saturday morning to the Indian Mounds Park in Oakville and support our Red Devils!!
