UPDATED WINTER FORECAST IS IN

The Hill Spirit's favorite weather forecaster is Joe Bastardi.  If you are a Fox News fan, you may have seen him.  Whenever Fox wants to talk weather, they tap him for an appearance.  He has his own ideas and believes that weather happening now, has happened in the past.  If you study long term weather patterns (not just the last 50 years), it is possible to predict future weather because it follows cycles.  I wanted to share his forecast for the winter with you.  If you love snow, this might be your winter of joy.
 
" As you can see, the analogs favor a slower start to the winter season than the worry. Though they are not by any means warm in December, they are not as cold. The final product reflects this and the previous thoughts. The bottom line is that the range of options in my opinion goes from normal snow and cold for the nation, to perhaps well below normal temperatures and much snowier than normal. I have positioned us in between the two with this forecast."

Looks like a good year for snow bunnies.
