SIXTH GRADE AT THE BE READY DAY

Elkmont's sixth grade class went to the annual Athens-Limestone Be Ready Day sponsored by the Limestone County Voluntary Organization Active in Disaster organization. They learned about being aware of their surroundings and what to do in different situations.

Be Ready Day 2016 in the books. Lots of County a student and several residents came by and got information on being prepared for all emergencies. Hope everyone enjoyed today and will take the information and work on getting ready just in case of emergencies.

A special thank you to Chloe Murphy, Noah Sharp, Jackson Cook, Brady Garris for being our student guides today, awesome job. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped and all the people who setup booths.
