To kickoff the American Education Week in Limestone County, a variety of activities are scheduled for today at the Athens Event Center. As always, Elkmont Schools will have a large role in the festivities. Come celebrate with the kids; displays, student performing groups, and much more from 4:30 - 8 pm. The Event Center is located in Athens directly across the parking lot of the Veterans Museum on Pryor Street.
SCHEDULE:
*Elkmont Elementary 4th graders perform at 5:10 and 5:20
*The band performs at 6:10 and the drumline will have their performance around 7:00 inside the Event Center on the stage. As soon as the drumline's performance is completed, the band will be loading up and heading back to Elkmont.
