HILL SPIRIT MOVIE REVIEW

Hill Spirit has been a big fan of Thor for years and has a large comic book collection featuring him. The original Thor stories were fantastic, great stories, great illustrations (after year 2000 - why bother reading them). Have enjoyed the Marvel movie versions as well. Looked forward to this movie for a while and went to see it last night. Oh my, don't spend your money or your time on this one. It was so awful, it made my top 3 worst movies I have ever seen. Had so much potential, great villains, Hulk and Thor team-up, but.....it was a spoof of the Thor character. A stupid aimless comedy geared for the 12 to 18 year old. It was a horrible story, no character development and terrible one liners.

Thor is a serious character and his stories are more in line with the drama genre. If you like that Thor, this is not the movie for you. If you like Deadpool, the Tick, and the superheroes that are based in humor and bad jokes, this version of Thor is perfect for you. It isn't as well done as Guardians of the Galaxy so don't buy the reviews comparing them as equals.  Hill Spirit isn't even going to buy the DVD (have a collection of the superhero movies) and hope never to see this again. The trailers are far better than the movie. Really worried about the Avenger movie now. At least DC has finally figured it out with Wonder Woman and Hill Spirit is looking foward to Justice League coming out later this month.
