Billy Joe Kelley, 76 of Athens, died Sunday, at Huntsville Hospital. A retired plumber and electrician. Mr. Kelley was born May 18, 1940 in Limestone County. He was a member of New Oakland Independent Baptist Church. Services will be 2PM Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home with Dwight Rayburn and Anthony Anderson officiating, burial in New Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 at Spry Funeral Home.
Survivors: Wife: Eloise Kelley, Athens, Son: Barry Kelley and wife Kimberly, Prospect, TN, Daughters: Becky Brown and husband Mike, Elkmont, Lisa King and husband Tommy, Elkmont, Grandchildren: Adam Kelley, Sara Brown, Carissa Kelley Gilbert, Michael Edwards, Alana Ray, Hannah Whitner, Great-Grandchildren: Colton Edward, Ethan Edwards, Emily Edwards, Isabella Whitner, Zane Whitner, Anna Kate Ray, Ansley Ray, Brothers: Doyle Kelley, Athens, Jerry Kelley, Decatur, Sister: Fredia Norris, Huntsville, Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be Adam Kelley, Mark Foster, Caleb White, Michael Edwards, Jason Kimbrough, Tracy Harris.
