EDWARD J. "BUGS" LEWIS - OBITUARY

Edward J. "Bugs" Lewis, 66 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at his home. Born Wednesday, August 2, 1950 in Athens, Alabama, he was the son of Mary Jane Living Lewis and the late Thomas Edward Lewis. He was a lifelong resident of this area. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother: Michael Lewis and a sister-in-law: Shirley Lewis.

Surviving are his mother: Mary Jane Lewis of Athens, AL, brothers, Jimmy Lewis of Ardmore, AL and Johnny (Karen) Lewis of Bunker Hill, TN. two nieces: Billie Hooper of Ardmore, AL and Deanna Beddingfield of Ardmore, TN, and two nephews: William Lewis of Pulaski, TN, and John David Lewis of Ardmore, AL.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Lynn Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 10, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
