MIKE DYKES - OBITUARY
Mike Dykes, 69 of Athens, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Dykes was born February 5, 1949 in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was a member of Elkton Road Baptist Church, a member of I.B.E.W. #558 and he was retired from Brownsferry Nuclear Plant.
There will be a 12 noon Graveside Service Friday in Roselawn Cemetery with Tony Wales and Clint Coffey officiating, visitation is from 10 am until 11:30 am Friday at Spry Funeral Home.
Survivors: Wife: Debbie Grisham Dykes of Athens, Son: Michael Dykes (went to Elkmont) and wife Tonya of Athens, Brothers: Richard Dykes and Randal Dykes of Mississippi, Sisters: Sandra Thomas of Athens and Kimberly Powers of Mississippi, Grandchildren: Bryson Rolin, Natalie Dykes and Jazlyn Dykes. Pallbearers will be Bryson Rolin, Johnny McKinney, Will Grisham, Justin Boger, Ben Clark and Corey Hill, Honorary Pallbearers are Jon Laing and Jason Griffin.
Preceded in death by Parents: Father: George Dykes and Mother: Marie Amos, Sister: Stella Dykes, Brother: Donald Dykes.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.

Our most loving Lord came and took our precious Mike Dykes home last night. He will be missed greatly, but knowing that he's touched the face of God gives us peace. Please pray for comfort and strength during this difficult time.
