Born Saturday, January 11, 1958 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Charles Junior Minatree and the late Estelle Tyler Minatree. She was a lifelong resident of the Elkmont area and was a member of Ardmore First Baptist Church. She loved farming, the outdoors, and her family, but most of all, her grandchildren. She spent her whole life helping others and serving the Lord. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: William & Mary Tyler, her parents, and a brother: Mark Dwayne Hargrove. Surviving are her husband: Gary Wade Martin of Elkmont, AL, sons, Lance (Nicole) Martin of Ardmore, AL and Chad Martin of Ardmore, AL, daughter, Tiffany (Dustin) Wilbourn of Ardmore, AL, sister, Annette (Tony) Lutrell of Ardmore, AL, grandson: Dawson Lee Wilbourn of Ardmore, AL, granddaughter: Paislee Nicole Martin of Ardmore, AL; niece: Kasie Dugger of Ardmore, AL. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 31, 2012, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Dwight Rayburn, Bro. Anthony Anderson, and Bro. Alan Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Bottoms Cemetery, Athens, AL. Pallbearers will be Randall Tyler, Roger Martin, Brewer Widner, Rickey Widner, Ben Whitt, and Chad Norton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
