Obituary:
Mildred Beatrice Clem, 97 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Sunday, August 26, 2012, at her home.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, August 27, 2012, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.

Born Monday, October 26, 1914, in Elkmont, AL, she was the daughter of the late Allie Dee Sanderson and the late Nancy Elizabeth Swanner Sanderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Joseph Atlon Clem, a son: Joe Clem; Brothers: Homer Weldon Sanderson and James Lewis Sanderson; and a sister: Allie Dee Storey.

She was a lifelong resident of the Elkmont area. She was a member of Holland's Gin Church of Christ and had been attending Main Street Church of Christ. She was a homemaker, farmer, seamstress, and made the worlds best coconut cakes. She had worked at the pants factory in Ardmore for over 20 years. She loved everybody and everybody loved her. She loved her churches.

Surviving are brother, Glen Sanderson of Ardmore, TN, sister, Geneva Puckett of Elkmont, AL, sister-in-law Opal Sanderson of Newnan, GA, special friends: Loye and Rachel Clem of Elkmont, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Roger Jackson and Bro. Ray Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Sylone Cemetery, Elkmont, AL. Pallbearers will be Johnny Purser, Bradley Puckett, Bradford Puckett, Sam Maki, Lakin Boyd, and James Lamar. Honorary pallbearers are Price Boyd and Loye Clem.
