Mr. and Mrs. Brent Richter of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter Mallory Dawn Richter to David Spencer Hagood of Athens, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hagood of Elkmont.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bob and Donise Richter and Franklin and Betty Johnson, all of Athens.
She is a 2007 graduate of West Limestone High School and a 2011 graduate of Calhoun Community College where she received an associate degree in business administration.
She is employed by Athens Eye Clinic as a receptionist.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Kenneth and Cheryl Kufahl of Lenoir, N.C., and Nancy Hagood Lovell of Athens and the late Richard Hagood Sr.
He is a 2007 graduate of Elkmont High School.
He is employed by Champion Power Sports as a sales representative.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 25 at Elkmont Rural Village in Elkmont.
